Head to Baytowne
Take a trip to Baytowne with your kids for something fun that everyone will enjoy. The little kids will love the carrousel. There’s a high ropes course for the really young (think toddler age) all the way up to adults! They have a great playground, ice-cream-truck style treats, tons of great restaurants, boutiques, the list goes on and on!
Eat on the Beach
You can head to The Beach House for a nice dinner on the beach. This restaurant is on the opposite side of the resort from Baytowne but it will be a great view. Don’t want to go all the way to the other side of the resort? Stay over at Baytowne and eat next to the marina. Hammer Head’s Bar and Grill is a restaurant that frequently has live music and all ordering is done on your phone, so you don’t have to wait for a server to come take your order. We also love Roberto’s Pizzeria Sports Bar & Grill but there can be a long wait there sometimes. You can always order pizza to go. See the pizza menu here.
Parlor Doughnuts
One of our absolute most FAVORITE things about this area is the fact that we have TWO of our very own parlor doughnut shops right here! This shop is just outside the resort. We love them so much that we’re actually thinking about opening our own location someday! These are croissant doughnuts so they’re extremely fluffy and the absolute best doughnut you will ever have. The shop also has amazing lattes (and my husband is a bit of a latte snob). Check out all of parlor’s different flavors here, but you honestly can’t go wrong.
Go Shopping in Sandestin with Kids
The miramar mall is really great. This is an outdoor mall with perfect shops for all your vacation needs. Think Lily Pelitzer, Anthropology, cute kids boutiques and ladies boutiques, a Tommy Bahama, etc.
